Firefighter Cancer Support Network

The Firefighter Cancer Support Network (FCSN)is a non-profit organization that helps Firefighter members, Emergency Medical Service (EMS) members and their families cope with cancer and to provide occupational-cancer awareness and prevention training nationwide.

Since 2005, FCSN has provided assistance and one-on-one mentoring to thousands of cancer-stricken firefighters and their families. FCSN also delivers extensive firefighter cancer awareness and prevention training nationwide.

Cancer is the most dangerous threat to firefighter health and safety today.

Now in their 12th year, FCSN has active operations in 39 states. And in 2016 expanded FCSN’s cancer-prevention training and launched their new train-the-trainer program with their primary focus of supporting firefighters and their families following a cancer diagnosis.

Phoenix Police Reserves

The Reserve Division is one of the six major organizational divisions within the Phoenix Police Department and is nationally recognized as one of the finest police reserve organizations in the country — with a long, rich history that dates back to 1918.

Reserve officers supplement the police department’s daily operational capabilities, and they are a force of additional police officers which may be deployed for increased homeland security during times of natural or man-made emergencies.

Reserve police officers work alongside the 4,000 career employees of the PD, and they serve the more than 1.5 million citizens of Phoenix in a large city. Reserve police officers donate tens of thousands of hours of police services each year, which have a value of several millions of dollars.
